Visit Froggatts Pools
Established over 20 years ago, Froggatts Pools now have five fully stocked pools which have been carefully designed to cater for every coarse Fisherman's needs.
Located just 3 miles from the picturesque market town of Ludlow
the fishery has been established to fit in and compliment
the beautiful surrounding Shropshire Countryside.
The pools are open all year round for day fisherman and we welcome any club bookings.
Day tickets are purchased pool side. Pools open at 8am until 8pm or dusk if earlier.
For club bookings please contact us well in advance to avoid disappointment

We also host a number of our own open matches which are open to all anglers.
These open matches are hosted every other Sunday and every Wednesday and a Friday evening during the summer.

The Lodge & Marlpit Pools
These were our first two pools created in 2001 and 2004 and are now two of our three match pools.
Well stocked with Carp, Bream, Tench, Roach, Chub, Barbel and various other species.

These two Pools can offer a great days fishing for anyone, be it novices who want to catch their first fish or experts who want to practice.
Match day weights differ slightly between the months. However, during the summer months over 100lb is not an uncommon sight.
The Leighs Pool
The Leighs Pool was established in 2009 and was designed to provide a feature for every peg. This pretty pool has numerous islands combined with plenty of stretches of open water and even has a canal area for pole fishermen. An occasional match pool, but mainly a favourite for pleasure fishing. Stocked with carp and many species of silver fish.
Also home to Frog Lodge our latest self catering lodge.
The Willows Pool
The Willows is the deepest and wildest of our Pools.
Largely untouched, its home to the 'big boys' of the fishery. Requiring patience and some strong line its a regular for some of our dedicated specimen anglers.
With a variety of carp ranging from 10lb up to 30lb, and catfish up to 28lb, it's worth playing the waiting game.
Night fishing is now available on this pool for our regular anglers. Pegs are limited and booking is essential.
Two self catering lodges overlook this pool and have their own private fishing.
The Oak Pool
Although not opened until 2006, the Oak Pool is one of the reasons why we decided to create pools here at Featherknowle.
Originally a section of arable land that was constantly wet during the winter months, it showed us how easily the clay soil in this area of the farm could hold water throughout the year.
Refined and stocked in 2006, the Oak Pool is now the ideal pool for beginners or those who are after a real variety of fish. The Oak is well stocked with a variety of silver fish as well as F1's and Crucian Carp.
Throughout the year it is the place to come with a box of maggots to ensure a fun days sport
